Tunnel Tots

Join us for a short trip through Lord Wards Tunnel, perfect for little ones under 5, sing songs, learn Makaton and listen to stories, as we take an underground trip designed just for toddlers.

Tunnel Tots boat operates most Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year and is designed for under fives with their parents or carers.
Tunnel Tot boats last 20 minutes and depart at 10am

Two Tunnel Tour - The Extended Journey

Enjoy a relaxing trip along the Dudley Number 2 Canal. Our most in-depth tour, this is the full experience, open water, locks, caverns, tunnels and basins. This is not to be missed.

DUDLEY TUNNEL TRIP – THE TUNNEL EXPLORER

Marvel at the engineering feat which is the Dudley Tunnel, second longest navigable canal tunnel in the UK. Our guided trip will point out the underwater locks, the millions of hand made bricks and you will even get the opportunity to have a go at “Legging” the traditional way boatmen travelled through these tunnels.

Starting at the Portal Building you’ll journey through our tunnel network before embarking on a journey through this spectacular tunnel.

OPEN WATER CRUISES – TRANQUIL TRIPPING

Join us for an exciting 4-hour trip onto the open water of the canals around Dudley and Tipton. Perfect for those who prefer not to go underground. Discover the fascinating industrial heritage and surprising wildlife of our local waterways on this skipper guided tour.

You’ll travel through two sets of locks on the cruise with the opportunity to jump off and have a go. For your comfort we have the option of refreshments and toilets on board.

The Open Water Cruises run on select weekends through the year

Private Hire Boats

Our Function Rooms and Boats can all be hired privately and we will work with you to tailor your requirements into a memorable event. Refreshments can be added to your booking and served on some of our boats or prior to you boarding.

We can also organise team building activities for you – for example reviving the traditional art of “legging” through the tunnels or undertaking canal clean up projects. We also have Canal Safari sheets for younger guests.
